punching

I wrapped up my hands just like they'd shown me. Around the wrist and thumb, criscrossing over the back of the hand, and up the fingers, tied securely so that the wrapping wouldn't come loose. I tied them as tightly as I could risk it, and then I walked out of my apartment, casually, as if I did it every day. And I casually walked all the way to the huge suspended MediaScreen in the market, climbed the access ladders, and just as carefully put my right fist through it.
I think it hurt. Glass that goes all the way through your hand usually does. But right then I didn't notice it, because I was victorious.
